Since
1990 I have operated Monkey Boy Records as a labor
of love. My first release was Peglegasus 7".
My last two were Los Platos and Dum Dum and the Smarties.
Along the way I have put out records and CDs for Chaindrive,
Phantom Creeps, Voltage, Liquid Mice and more as well
as several comps featuring most of Austin's most creative
rock/jazz/punk/country artists. The folks I work with
might not have what is refered to in the music industry
as commercial appeal but they all have passion and
something to offer that isn't already being shoved
down the throats of music lovers by what is left the
major record labels...
